There is no one definition of "student success" but as per my role, I would note: Student Success at UNT is both a collection of departments under the Office of the Provost, and an campus-wide initiative lead by administration and units involving both faculty and student support efforts. There are broader conversations from library leadership the library's role. I will note a few activities while we align our new strategic plan with the forthcoming university one.
In November 2025, I was the first person from UNT Libraries to participate in the "Discovery Sprint" using "design thinking" principals. The topic was "Work integrated learning"/ Career Readiness.
